Join us in revisiting the Stone Center’s symposium that features conversations between and among communities affected by the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Participants from African American, Native/Indigenous American, African, European and White American (descendant) communities will offer their unique insights and reflections on the 400th year since the eventful moment in 1619 when enslaved Africans arrived at Point Comfort near the English settlement at Jamestown, in what is now Virginia.
